Refund Process and Policy
The Farmers Lot Pty Ltd is an Australian company and as such we are subject to Australian Consumer laws. Consumers are entitled to refunds in accordance with these laws e.g. where the goods are not of a merchantable quality.
Refund processing
Our payment processors utlise least cost routing, these means where a card id "dual branded" i.e. eftpos and visa it will usually be processed by the cheapest route.
Where eftpos is used by our payment processor does not offer refunds via eftpos and an alternative mechanisim will be utilised requiring proof of card ownership prior to the return of funds.
Timeframes
In the case of claims relating to the (i) return of damaged, (ii) faulty goods, or (iii) goods not as described, we will resolve claims raised by you for reasons (i) - (iii) within the later of 180 days of: (1) the date of delivery of goods or services, or (2) the eftpos Transaction.
Who is responsible for the refund
Refunds must be negotiated and agreed with the vendor from which the goods were purchased.
Where The Farmers Lot is the vendor please be advised that we do not provide refunds for change of mind unless we agree in writing and you are able to produce that evidence to us.
Shipping costs for returns
If product is returned on the basis it is faulty and is found not to have a problem, you may need to pay the transport and inspection costs. We may provide a estimate of these costs should be provided to you before the product is collected, othewise goods weighing less that 22kg will incur a fee of $25 each way, goods weighing more than this will incurr an addiitonal $20 for every additional kg or part there-of. Goods crossing international boarders willl incurr additional other fees.
